Legal · Host Agreement
This Host Agreement governs the listing of a venue on Brides Venues. It supplements the Terms of Service and forms part of the contract between you and Brides Venues Pte. Ltd. You will be asked to sign this Agreement digitally in your dashboard before publishing your first listing.
Applicable jurisdictions
United States · European Economic Area (GDPR) · United Kingdom · Indonesia (UU PDP)
This Agreement is between Brides Venues Pte. Ltd. and the venue host that accepts these terms in the dashboard (“you”, “Host”).
You warrant that:
Brides Venues may, at its discretion, request copies of permits and insurance certificates before publishing a listing.
You retain ownership of your listing content (photographs, virtual tours, descriptions, pricing) and grant Brides Venues a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to display, format, and promote that content on the platform and on marketing channels owned or operated by Brides Venues (social, email, editorial).
You warrant that the content does not infringe any third-party right and that you hold the necessary releases for any people depicted. You agree to keep the content current — date availability, pricing, and inclusions must be accurate at the time a couple sends an inquiry.
Brides Venues charges a marketplace fee of ten percent (10%) of the total invoice value on bookings originated through the platform. This is the only fee charged to you on a booking. It is deducted from the payout (see Section 5) and is non-refundable except where the booking is fully refunded under the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
The platform fee may be modified on thirty (30) days’ notice for new bookings. Existing confirmed bookings retain the fee in effect at the time of confirmation.
You are responsible for keeping your payout details current. Brides Venues is not liable for funds delayed or misdirected because of incorrect payout details.
Date availability shown on the platform is the source of truth for inquiries. You agree not to take an off-platform booking for a date shown as available on Brides Venues without first updating the platform calendar.
If two confirmed bookings collide because of overbooking, the earlier-confirmed booking takes priority. The Host bears the cost of relocating, refunding, or compensating the affected couple.
You agree to:
Once a couple has been introduced to you through Brides Venues, you may not for a period of twenty-four (24) months take that booking off-platform. This includes accepting direct payment, encouraging the couple to cancel the platform booking, or referring the couple to a sister entity.
Breach entitles Brides Venues to liquidated damages equal to twenty percent (20%) of the total invoice value of the off-platform booking, plus reasonable legal costs.
If you cancel a confirmed booking, you must (a) refund the couple in full through the platform, including any non-recoverable payment fees, and (b) co-operate with Brides Venues’ concierge to relocate the couple to a comparable venue, including covering any reasonable uplift in cost for an equivalent date and standard.
Repeated Host-initiated cancellations may result in suspension or removal from the platform.
When a couple is introduced to you through Brides Venues, you become an independent data controller of the personal data shared with you for the purpose of fulfilling that booking. You agree to process that data in accordance with applicable data protection law (GDPR / UK GDPR / UU PDP) and to use it only for the booking.
This Agreement runs from the date you accept it and continues until terminated. Either party may terminate for convenience on thirty (30) days’ notice in writing. Brides Venues may terminate immediately for cause (material breach, fraud, insolvency, reputational damage).
On termination, your listings are unpublished. You remain bound by Sections 4 (Marketplace fee), 5 (Payouts), 6 (Availability), 8 (Anti-circumvention), and 10 (Data protection) for any bookings outstanding at the termination date.
You agree to indemnify Brides Venues against any claim by a couple, guest, supplier, or third party arising out of (a) the operation of the venue, (b) breach of this Agreement, or (c) infringement of any third-party right by your listing content.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Singapore. Disputes are resolved by SIAC arbitration in accordance with Section 13 of the Terms of Service.
You accept this Agreement by signing it digitally at your host dashboard. A countersigned record (signature, full name, IP address, timestamp, version of the document) is retained by Brides Venues and is available to you on request.
