A place to begin everything.
Sound of the Sea stands inside the gated Pantai Lima Estate at Pererenan, on the black volcanic sand of the Canggu coast in Bali. Two thatched bungalows hold six en-suite bedrooms and are joined by an open-plan living room that faces the water, so the surf is the constant note of the place. A twenty-metre infinity pool runs from the living room toward the break, with a bale beside a lily pond and an open-air jacuzzi in the garden. The lawn gives directly onto the beach, and lawn and terrace together carry ceremonies and dinners for as many as sixty. A tennis court and four more villas stand within the same estate, useful when six rooms will not hold everyone. Rates begin from IDR 15,874,898, with event fees, a security deposit and a minimum stay attached to wedding dates. The estate sets its own event requirements, house rules and arrangements for access through the gates. Everything else — a caterer, a planner, furniture, lighting — is charged separately.

- Event fees
- Wedding event fee (net of 15.5% tax and service): IDR 18,000,000 for an event of up to 60 guests (50 seated / 60 standing), or IDR 14,000,000 for a small event under 30 guests, on top of the villa hire. A community banjar fee of IDR 4,000,000 applies.
- Security deposit
- A refundable security deposit is held: IDR 15,000,000 for an event of up to 60 guests, or IDR 10,000,000 for a small event under 30 guests.
- Minimum stay
- The whole villa is booked exclusively, with a minimum stay of 3 nights in normal and shoulder seasons and 4 nights in high season; peak-season events are subject to approval. A 2-night stay may be allowed in normal or shoulder season if adjacent to an existing booking.
- Event requirements
- An approved event organiser must be appointed and the final run-of-show shared three days before the event. Catering is set up in the parking area (no stove in the main villa area), with waste managed by the vendor.
- House rules
- Music curfew is 11 PM. No fireworks or pyrotechnics, and no paper candle or Thai wishing lanterns (the villa's roof is flammable). There is no floating stage or pool deck at the villa.
- Access
- Guests arrange their own transport - there is no taxi or public-transport access to the estate.
- What is quoted separately
- This venue's fee covers the property and its spaces. Catering, bar, floral styling, lighting, sound, furniture hire and on-the-day coordination are quoted separately — your Brides Venues planner arranges them and confirms every cost with you before anything is booked.
