Villa Rosita stands above the Indian Ocean at Tegal Besar in Klungkung, on the quieter east coast of Bali. Seven en-suite suites sleep twenty-one, and an eighteen-metre infinity pool reaches out from an ocean deck toward the water, with a covered terrace behind it. Tropical gardens run down to a beachfront gazebo and on to the black sand, which the estate reaches directly. Up to a hundred guests can be received here, and the east-coast position buys a degree of privacy, along with more relaxed limits on sound, that the crowded south of the island no longer offers. The house belongs to the Boutique Villas Bali collection and holds Sustonica sustainability certification. The rate is composed for each date rather than listed, and the villa's conditions cover accommodation, the setting and the sound limits that go with it. Caterer, planner, florist, sound, furniture and transport are each quoted apart from the hire.
