The estate
A place to begin everything.
Nag Shampa Estate holds eight bedrooms in the village of Taro, twenty minutes north of central Ubud, where cultivated Bali gives way to jungle and palm groves. Joglo-style timber pavilions and standalone pool villas are arranged around five swimming pools and a large yoga shala. Weddings run to 30 seated or 50 standing, and the estate keeps that cap firmly. A garden lawn holds the ceremony; dinner is laid along tables beneath the pavilions, under carved timber that does most of the decorating. A small-event policy governs shorter and quieter celebrations, and both it and the capacity limit are worth reading before a guest list is fixed. Rates start from IDR 24,885,000. An event fee applies to celebrations, a security deposit is held against the property, and a minimum stay and the estate's booking policy apply to the dates themselves. Anything beyond the estate and its pavilions — a kitchen, a planner, tables, lighting — is priced on its own.

- A main event fee of USD 750 ++ (subject to 15.5% tax and service charge) applies, plus a community banjar fee of IDR 3,750,000.
- Small-event policy
- For a small event below the minimum capacity (no more than 30 guests and without amplified music), a fee equivalent to 50% of the main event fee applies, in addition to the banjar fee.
- Capacity
- Weddings and events are limited to a maximum of 30 seated or 50 standing guests.
- Security deposit
- A refundable security deposit of USD 1,000 is payable on arrival, returned in full where no damage occurs.
- Minimum stay & policy
- Minimum stay follows the season's length-of-stay requirement; peak-season events are subject to approval. Public or ticketed events are not permitted at any time.
- What is quoted separately
