The estate
A place to begin everything.
Nag Shampa is an eight-bedroom private estate in the village of Taro, twenty minutes north of central Ubud, set deep in tropical jungle and palm groves. Traditional Joglo-style timber pavilions and standalone pool villas gather around five swimming pools and a large yoga shala, looked after by a dedicated team and a private chef. It is an intimate, ceremonial setting for weddings and celebrations of up to 30 seated or 50 standing guests, with a garden lawn for the ceremony and long banquet tables beneath the pavilions.

- Event fee
- A main event fee of USD 750 ++ (subject to 15.5% tax and service charge) applies, plus a community banjar fee of IDR 3,750,000.
- Small-event policy
- For a small event below the minimum capacity (no more than 30 guests and without amplified music), a fee equivalent to 50% of the main event fee applies, in addition to the banjar fee.
- Capacity
- Weddings and events are limited to a maximum of 30 seated or 50 standing guests.
- Security deposit
- A refundable security deposit of USD 1,000 is payable on arrival, returned in full where no damage occurs.
- Minimum stay & policy
- Minimum stay follows the season's length-of-stay requirement; peak-season events are subject to approval. Public or ticketed events are not permitted at any time.
