The estate
A place to begin everything.
Permata Ayung Private Estate occupies a bank of the Ayung River at Bongkasa, in the countryside outside Ubud. Balinese timber pavilions and antique joglos stand among tropical gardens and rice terraces, with the gorge below and the rushing water within earshot of the decks. The estate is hired whole, every room in use by one party, and it sleeps twenty to twenty-four of them; thirty guests is the limit for the celebration itself. Vows are taken on a riverside deck beside the water, with the gardens and the palms behind for the reception. A fitness centre, a jacuzzi, a sauna and a steam room sit within the grounds. The buyout is priced from IDR 142,200,000, government tax and service charge included, with champagne in each room on arrival and a minibar refreshed daily. A wedding event fee, a damage deposit and corkage on anything brought in are added, and event guidelines and payment terms are fixed in the contract. Catering is taken in-house under the estate's conditions and priced separately; flowers, sound and a planner likewise.

- Exclusive villa buyout
- The whole estate is hired exclusively, with overnight accommodation for 20 to 24 guests and the all-inclusive stay experience listed above.
- Wedding event fee
- A wedding event fee of USD 5,500 ++ (plus 21% tax and service) per event covers exclusive use of the wedding venue, the event permit and community coordination, security (pecalang) personnel, a standard Balinese-style floral set-up, on-site assistance during the event and post-event cleaning.
- In-house catering
- Dinner is served as an elegant set menu by the estate's culinary team - an authentic Balinese tasting menu, a Western-style BBQ or a Mediterranean menu - from IDR 1,250,000 ++ per person (beverages arranged separately). External catering is permitted with prior approval by the villa management.
- Damage deposit & corkage
- A refundable damage deposit of USD 2,000 is held and returned within seven days after departure absent damage or missing items. Corkage for guests bringing their own beverages is USD 500 per event, covering handling, glassware, service and cleaning.
- Event guidelines
- Maximum event capacity is 30 guests. The reception and music conclude by midnight; any extension requires prior approval and additional charges. All external vendors, and fireworks, sky lanterns or activities requiring special permits, must be approved by the villa management in advance.
- Payment terms
- A 50% deposit secures the booking, with the balance settled 30 days before the event date. Payments towards accommodation, event fee, catering and additional services are non-refundable and non-transferable.
