The estate
A place to begin everything.
Villa Astor stands on the cliffs of Sorrento, a few minutes' walk from the town's historic centre, with a 270-degree view across the Bay of Naples to Vesuvius and the island of Capri. The site has been lived on since the first century AD — Agrippa Postumus, grandson of the Emperor Augustus, kept a residence here — and the villa takes its present name from William Waldorf Astor, who bought it in 1905 and filled it with one of the great collections of classical and Renaissance antiquities. Two hectares of gardens fall away toward the sea: ornamental ponds and fountains, a pool set in a natural grotto, citrus and olive groves and more than a thousand plant species. Ceremonies and receptions are held on the terraces and in the gardens for up to 200 guests, arranged end to end by the Brides Venues concierge.

- Accommodation
- The two-day and three-day rentals include one and two nights at the villa respectively. The one-day event and the up-to-20-guest rental are venue-only, without accommodation.
- Commercial & pre-wedding shoots
- The estate can also be hired for photography or film alone — EUR 7,700 for a commercial or pre-wedding shoot. This is a shoot-only rental and does not include a wedding event.
