Villa Astor stands on the cliffs of Sorrento, a few minutes' walk from the town's historic centre, with a 270-degree view across the Bay of Naples to Vesuvius and the island of Capri. The site has been lived on since the first century AD — Agrippa Postumus, grandson of the Emperor Augustus, kept a residence here — and the villa takes its present name from William Waldorf Astor, who bought it in 1905 and filled it with one of the great collections of classical and Renaissance antiquities. Two hectares of gardens fall away toward the sea: ornamental ponds and fountains, a pool set in a natural grotto, citrus and olive groves and more than a thousand plant species.

- What the rate covers
- The figures shown are the villa's rental fee. Catering, styling, production and any additional suppliers are quoted separately — your concierge prepares a single all-in figure before you commit.
- Weekday dates
- The one-day and two-day rentals are available on weekdays, on dates proposed by the villa; weekend dates may be possible on request at an extra charge.
- Guests
- Up to 100 guests on the one-day rental, with more on request at an extra charge, and up to 200 on the two- and three-day rentals, where the afterparty is limited to 150 guests. A seated dinner inside is for up to 40 guests.
- Accommodation
- The two-day and three-day rentals include one and two nights in the six double suites of the Main Villa, for up to 12 guests. The one-day event and the up-to-20-guest rental are without accommodation.
- Security deposit
- EUR 35,000 on the one-day rental for more than 20 guests (otherwise by agreement) and on the two- and three-day rentals, refundable if no damages. From EUR 20,000 for up to 20 guests, from EUR 15,000 for an elopement and from EUR 5,000 for a shoot.
- Mandatory event extras
- Toilet attendant service is mandatory for every event, and power hub access (wiring not included) is at an extra charge.
- Music and afterparty
- Outdoor music ends at 10pm or 11pm and the afterparty at midnight. Later is available at EUR 5,750 per hour.
- Extras on request
- Extra hours, extra suites for getting ready, the pizza oven, moving furniture and any specific services are available at an extra charge. Two technical site inspections for your suppliers are included; more are at an extra charge.
- Kitchen access
- Kitchen access for a catering company or a private chef is at an extra charge.
- Smoking
- Not allowed inside under any circumstances (a penalty from EUR 10,000 applies) or anywhere on the grounds outside authorised areas. Smoke machines are not allowed at the afterparty.
