- Event curfew. Outdoor entertainment runs until 10pm, at 80 dB; after-parties move to the Bale Wicaksana ballroom, for an additional fee.

- The Akasa afternoon slot. An afternoon ceremony on the Akasa terrace requires a dinner at Akasa or on the Trowulan lawn.
When to marry at Jumeirah Bali
April to October, with July and August the most reliable. Sunset falls between about 6:05 and 6:50 pm year-round — earliest in May and June, latest in January and February — and the whole day is built backwards from it. Because Bali lies just south of the equator, the sun sets within the same hour all year: at Uluwatu, at about 6:05 pm at its earliest (May and June) and 6:45 pm at its latest (January and February).
Twelve months for a peak-season Saturday. Uluwatu's cliff-edge chapels and lawns are the most requested in Indonesia.

Sunsets are calculated for the 15th of each month (local clock, summer time where it applies) and move a few minutes either side across the month. Golden-hour vows start about an hour and a quarter before sunset.
Marrying legally in Indonesia
- Indonesian law recognises religious marriage only. There is no civil marriage in Indonesia. A legal wedding requires both partners to share one of the six state-recognised religions — Islam, Protestantism, Catholicism, Hinduism, Buddhism or Confucianism — and to marry under its rites, with the marriage then registered at the civil registry office.
- Which is why most international couples marry symbolically. A symbolic ceremony at the villa or resort — celebrant, vows, rings, sand or water ritual — is the standard choice and is what nearly every Bali wedding photograph you have seen actually is. The legal marriage happens at home, before or after.
Getting to Jumeirah Bali
- Airport. Bali Ngurah Rai (DPS) — about 45–75 minutes to the Bukit clifftops
- The peninsula. Uluwatu sits on the Bukit, south of the airport. Getting there avoids the island's worst northbound traffic
- Between venues. Clifftop estates are 10–30 minutes apart along the coast road
- Worth planning. Wind. The cliffs are exposed — it affects florals, drapery, hair and where a ceremony can physically sit

- Pair the ceremony with its dinner. The ceremony packages hold up to 80; the Trowulan receptions hold 150 (IDR 558,000,000++) or 250 (IDR 658,000,000++).
- Under 40, marry at the villa. The In-Villa wedding (IDR 278,000,000++) puts the ceremony on your own Ocean Villa lawn, with the nights included.
- Bring fewer outside vendors. Each outside vendor's entrance is IDR 10,000,000++ per event.
- Move the party inside at 10pm. Outdoor entertainment ends at 10pm; the ballroom takes the after-party, for an additional fee.
